The fair price of any used car, inside your own systems

The same number truprice.io calculates, over an API: send the car and its condition, get back the fair transaction price in PKR, what it is worth in every condition band, and a signed report anyone can verify. Built for lenders, insurers, marketplaces and dealers who have to stand behind a price.

Who uses it

Anyone who has to put a number on a used car and defend it later.

Banks & leasing

Value used-car collateral at origination for auto finance and ijarah. Every valuation is stored as issued and carries a signed report for the loan file.

Insurers

Set the sum insured at renewal and settle total-loss claims on a condition-adjusted price you can reproduce for the date in dispute.

Marketplaces & classifieds

Show a fair-price badge on each ad and flag overpriced listings. The asking-price check and the coverage level tell you when not to badge.

Dealers & showrooms

Price trade-ins on the spot and re-price inventory. The condition grid shows what each band is worth before you make an offer.

Inspection companies

Send your 8 section scores and attach a market price to your own report, with a per-section breakdown that matches your findings.

Fleet & driver finance

Value many similar cars, repeatedly, on one consistent model — and see exactly which model version produced every number.

One call

Everything a decision needs, in one response

A real call for a 2025 Toyota Corolla Altis Grande X in good condition, with figures from today's model. Shortened — a live response also carries the vehicle as priced, the mileage verdict and the negotiation buffer.

  • Fair transaction price
In whole PKR — what the car should change hands for, not what sellers ask
  • Price in every condition band
Excellent, good, fair and bad, side by side
  • Asking-price check
Send an asking price and get a verdict on it — it never moves the fair price
  • Coverage level
How many market listings sit behind this model, trim and year
  • Signed, verifiable report
A public ID anyone can check — car, price and date, never who asked

IDs are illustrative. Prices are what the API returns for this request today.

A number you can stand behind

Four guarantees, each enforced in code and pinned by automated tests.

The same price as truprice.io

The API runs the website's own pricing code. For identical inputs, your system and the public calculator never disagree — so a customer who checks your number on our site finds the same one.

No one can buy a different number

Only facts about the car and evidence of its condition move the price. Not your asking price, not your plan, not your contract. TruPrice doesn't broker deals or take a cut of one.

Evidence is labelled, never upgraded

Inspection scores, answers to our 15-question condition questionnaire, or a single declared band — every response says which one the price rests on. Self-declared is never reported as inspected.

What we said on that date, forever

A past valuation comes back exactly as issued, with the model version that produced it — never silently re-priced after a retrain. The signed report proves it to a third party.

From request to production

No sales cycle to start testing. You integrate on free test keys and go live when you're ready.

Step 1

Tell us what you're pricing

Send the form below. We reply with a test key, the developer guide and the OpenAPI specification.

Step 2

Integrate on a test key

Free, 200 valuations a day, real prices. Validation errors name the field and list what's allowed, and idempotency keys make retries safe.

Step 3

Go live on a monthly plan

Plans scale by monthly volume, from Starter to Enterprise. Only successful valuations are billed, and every response names the model version behind it.

Frequently asked questions

What is the TruPrice valuation API?
A REST API that returns the fair transaction price of a used car in Pakistan. You send the car (make, model, trim, year, mileage, city) and, optionally, its condition; you get back the fair price in PKR, the price for each condition band, a mileage verdict, a coverage level and a signed report you can verify later.
Is the API price the same as the price on truprice.io?
Yes. The API calls the same pricing code the website's calculator uses — it is a second door into the same model, not a second model. For identical inputs the two never disagree, and an automated test fails the build if they ever do.
Can a partner influence the price it gets back?
No. Only facts about the car and evidence of its condition move the price. An asking price you send is compared against the fair price, never used to set it, and no plan or contract buys a different number. That independence is what makes the report worth showing to a customer or an auditor.
How do we prove what a valuation said on a given date?
Every valuation can carry a signed report with a public ID. Anyone can check it at truprice.io/report/<id>/, which confirms the car, the price and the date — never who requested it. Fetching a past valuation through the API returns it exactly as issued, with the model version that produced it; it is never silently re-priced.
What condition information can we send?
One of three kinds, and the response says which one the price rests on: scores for the 8 inspection sections (from your own inspection), answers to our 15-question condition questionnaire (labelled self-declared), or a single condition band (labelled declared). Self-declared evidence is never reported as an inspection.
Which cars are covered?
30 models and 218 trims across the makes that make up most of Pakistan's used market, priced in 12 cities. Every response states how many market listings sit behind that model, trim and year, so thin data is flagged rather than presented with false confidence.
Do you need our customers' personal data?
No. The API takes no VIN, registration number, owner name or CNIC. Your own reference — a loan, claim or listing ID — can travel with the request so you can find the valuation again; it is stored as an opaque string and never signed or published.
Is a TruPrice valuation a certified appraisal?
No. It is a statistical estimate from a model trained on the Pakistani used-car market, and it should sit beside your own credit, underwriting or inspection process rather than replace it.
How is the API priced?
By monthly valuation volume, with plans from a small starter quota up to enterprise. Integration happens on test keys, which are free and allow 200 valuations a day. Only successful valuations count — a rejected request is never billed.
